Preferred Joinery has been making bespoke timber joinery in Liverpool since 1997. We specialise in heritage work: sash windows, doors, porches, staircases and architectural joinery for period homes, listed buildings and conservation areas across the North West.
Everything is made in our own workshop on Head Street. Parts are machined on our CNC for accuracy, then assembled, primed and painted by our joiners. Our own fitters carry out the installation, so the same team is responsible for your porch from survey to handover.

From booking to the finished porch, in six steps.
A 50% deposit confirms your order and secures your place in our programme.
We book in a full site survey to take exact measurements and confirm every detail before anything is made.
We machine all the parts, order in the glass and materials, and prime and paint everything in the workshop.
Once your porch is ready, we agree a fitting date with you.
The remaining 50% is due before our fitters arrive on site.
Our fitters strip out the old porch and carry out the full install, finishing and clearing up before handover.
All estimates are approximate and subject to change. They are not final and may vary depending on the outcome of the site survey.
A 50% deposit is required to book your order. The remaining 50% balance must be paid before we attend your property on the agreed installation date. If an installation date has been agreed by email and the customer delays or moves the installation for any reason, the balance is still due on the original agreed date.
